We currently offer three typeface families: Lina, Zeta, Colophon. Each family
consists of six fonts.
Lina 30, the roman font, was drawn originally by hand and its character set
later extended and then digitally redrawn. The five additional fonts, 60, 90, along
with the italics 33, 66, 99, followed, and were all produced digitally from
scratch. Being slightly condensed, Lina is characterized by economy of space.
Zeta is modelled on traditional proportions and, as such, may be utilized to good
effect in book typography. The figures are shorter than the capitals, resulting in
an even text colour. Zeta can be set without leading and still retain fine legibility.
Colophon demonstates robustness when used for text composition, and where
individual characters become more apparent, as when used in much larger
sizes, these appear well formed. Colophon 60 and 90 progressively increase in
x-height over Colophon 30 to allow the counters to retain openness. The italics lean
toward informality, as seen in the descender tails. On account of its neutrality
there are few instances where the use of Colophon would be inappropriate.
